Job Description

Do you have strong content writing experience? This is a great opportunity to join a leading media company in central London serving the B2B sector. You will oversee a small team creating content for the member’s magazine, guides and digital articles. You’ll be involved in wide range of projects so writing your own content, project management, attending and reporting on events and conferences.

This role is to cover maternity leave and will be for 7 months but extremely likely to lead to further opportunities within the company.

Key duties:

  • Oversee content and delivery of quarterly print magazine, monthly digital best practice guides and range of commercial content products
  • Setting commissions, project managing and editing on the magazine
  • Write digital best practice guides on a range of industry topics (used to generate leads and provide sponsorship opportunities)
  • Manage and support the team of content writers, plus social media manager
  • Regularly attend and report on events, conferences and client meetings
  • Come up with creative and commercial content ideas to support the growth of the business

 Experience/ skills required:

  • Strong writing and project management skills 
  • Track record in commissioning and producing excellent content
  • Exceptional proofing and writing skills
  • Demonstrable skills in creative and commercial idea generation
  • Experience of working with clients
  • Ideally some previous line management experience
