Job Description
Are you looking for a fantastic role working across the full mix of marketing channels? We’d love to hear from you and give you lots more info about this Assistant Marketing Manager job at a market-leading publisher. You’d be working on 2 major products (a major UK STM journal and an international careers site) and you’ll oversee campaigns from development to booking media, results analysis and campaign report production.

 

Key duties:

  • Create, implement and measure marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, ecommerce sales, awareness and user engagement campaigns
  • Produce sales support collateral
  • Support content development across the two products to promote to various audience types
  • Grow opt-in marketing lists and social followers across the two products
  • Analyse campaign results and prepare benchmark reports, across all channels
  • Grow social media engagement through scheduling of regular activity both organically and paid
  • Manage event giveaway stock and event materials, event logistics and attend events

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid experience in a commercial marketing role, ideally within an ecommerce and lead generation position
  • Experience of working with google analytics and report production
  • Experience of email campaign creation and management through an ESP
  • Knowledge of paid search and hands on management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns within a deadline along with attention to detail
  • An understanding or knowledge of STM / academic publishing is desirable
