Job Description
Our client, a leading educational publisher is looking for a Senior Content Delivery Manager to join them in their Oxford or London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with proven editorial project management experience. You will be developing operational strategy to lead a team implementing a strategy and standardising operations across their Primary, Secondary and FE departments. 

Key duties:

Leading a team to develop and implement an effective outsourcing strategy and standardising operations across various departments
Collaborating with internal departments on business improvement projects for systems, process, reporting and operations
Contribute to the development of new content delivery processes and best practice
Review supplier performance against targets and objectives
Work closely with internal departments and external freelancers and suppliers
Establish and maintain sustainable relationships through clear communication
Work with content creation tools, content management and workflow tools
Ensure products are to company standards and fit for market purpose

Experience / skills required:
Line management experience with excellent leadership skills
Experience in an editorial project management role in a fast paced publishing environment
Experience within educational, professional, vocational publishing would be desirable
Solid project management skills and confidence working with multiple deadlines
Knowledge of working with internal departments and coordinating external freelancers and suppliers
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly
