Job Description
Our client is a not-for-profit international organisation who publish high quality scientific resources. They are looking for a Marketing Executive for their book publishing and online resources business. You will be based in their Oxfordshire office. 

Key duties:
Support the planning and execution of the marketing strategy, creating plans for key titles and subject areas
Create impactful copy for marketing resources and design print marketing materials
Actively contribute to social media campaigns and create engaging email marketing campaigns
Manage author relationships and keep them informed of marketing activity, in order to maximise their engagement and support
Work closely with a range of internal teams to monitor the market and find promotional opportunities 
Manage their event attendances portfolio 
Measure the success of event marketing activities to ensure maximum impact

Experience / skills required:
Experience in marketing books, ideally for an academic or STM publisher or from a not for profit marketing background
Strong communication and copywriting skills 
Well organised with good time management
Excellent IT skills with InDesign skills advantageous
An interest in science or working for a not-for-profit organisation is highly desirable 
A marketing qualification is desirable
