Job Description
A prestigious academic publisher has an opening for a Sales Executive to join their team based in central London. You will be responsible for selling print and digital educational resources to universities in a designated territory within the EMEA region. This is a predominantly office based position with most of the sales being done over the phone and email. Some travel within the territory may be required. 

This is a great opportunity to join an international publisher in a role that offers a generous basic salary + commission. 

Key duties:
Manage sales of print and digital products to universities in a designated territory 
Build strong consultative relationships with senior university staff members and decision makers 
Conduct sales on the phone and via email and deliver presentations 
Seek out new sales opportunities and strive to meet sales targets  
Manage leads and opportunities on a CRM database 
Collaborate with colleagues across the business
Stay informed of new trends in the higher education market 

Experience / skills required:
Proven sales experience and the ability to conduct sales over the telephone and via email 
Strong communication skills and the confidence to sell to academics and senior decision makers
Results oriented and self-motivated
Experience in publishing or working in higher education would be a plus
