Job Description
A great opportunity to join a well-known books publisher in their lovely head offices. You will be part of the facilities team and be the first point of contact for guests and manage the main switchboard. This is a full time, permanent role.   

Key duties:
  • Greet and welcome staff and visitors and inform the relevant member of staff of their visitor’s arrival
  • Operate the switchboard, receiving and transferring telephone calls, announcing callers, taking messages
  • Ensure that the reception area is kept tidy
  • Maintain and advise availability for communal facilities including meeting rooms
  • Maintain and monitor Security/Access passes
  • Day-to-day management of email correspondence to Customer Services inbox 

Experience / skills required:
  • Previous experience of working within an office environment and front of house would be an advantage
  • Good IT skills and experience using switchboards would be advantageous 
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Excellent communications skills with a good telephone manner
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Efficient and well organised
