Job Description

A scholarly and professional publishing technology supplier are looking for Machine Learning Engineers / Research Scientists to expand the AI R&D team in the areas of Natural Language Process, Machine Learning Engineering including Deep learning, Knowledge extraction & representation and Recommendation. Senior-level engineers/research scientists preferred but all levels may apply.

Key duties:

  • Responsible for exploring and prototyping effective ML algorithms/solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering team to develop innovative software features/products by applying AI technologies
  • Collaborate with worldwide reputational research labs
  • Work across a wide portfolio of products and have impact on them

Experience / skills required:

  • A passion for Data Science and Machine Learning
  • Strong development skills in Python or Java
  • Experience in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions
  • Deep understanding and experience in Text Mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, sklearn, liblinear, Weka, or OpenNLP etc.
  • Proven ability to train, tune and evaluate ML models
  • Bsc or Msc with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning related fields
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Fluency in English
