Job Description
A prestigious professional organisation in central London has an excellent opening for a Marketing Manager to join their publishing division. You will develop marketing strategies for a range of books, journals and digital products and will line manage 2 junior marketing colleagues. There will be a focus on digital marketing and increasing international visibility of products in academic and corporate markets. 

This is a rewarding role with a respected organisation. It would particularly suit someone with experience marketing academic or professional books and journals. 

Key duties:
Plan marketing strategies and tactical plans for a range of books, journals and digital products 
Line manage 2 junior marketing colleagues
Be a “Digital Champion” by sharing knowledge with the wider marketing team and inspiring the best use of digital marketing channels 
Ensure product websites are the focal point of the digital marketing strategy 
Monitor ROI of all marketing activities and feedback results and analysis to stakeholders
Build on current partnerships and establish new ones 
Set and monitor marketing budgets for the team

Experience / skills required:
Proven experience developing strategic and tactical marketing plans
Budget management and line management experience
Digital marketing expertise and knowledge of new trends and best practice
Experience marketing academic or professional books and journals is very desirable
