Job Description
A leading independent publisher is looking for a Business Development Executive to promote their legal, Accountancy and Tax digital products to new and existing customers in London. You can be home-based or based in their Oxford office but you will be required to travel around your territory.

Key duties:

Visit new and existing customers to grow print subscriptions and identify upselling opportunities/ secure new business with prospects
Arrange, prepare, and give presentations to customers
Build strong relationships with customers and develop an understanding of their needs 
Identify significant new business opportunities
Plan strategies and tactics to win new business
Use CRM and market data to optimise efficient use of time and resources

Experience / skills required:

A proven track record of consultative sales experience, ideally in a commercial B2B Publishing environment
First class communication and presentation skills
Excellent new business sales skills with proven ability to close new deals via telephone 
Self-motivated and organised with good time management skills
Excellent IT skills and experience of using SalesForce would be an advantage
