Job Description
A leading higher education publisher is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to prepare and launch new products to global markets and manage key aspects of the marketing cycle. This a new pivotal role and proven product marketing experience is essential. You will be based in their Essex office. 
 
Key duties:
  • Create global product launch plans for different disciplines and key products
  • Establish the product strategy through different stages of the product lifestyle and define clear messaging for customer segments
  • Create brand assets for key products and develop the brand identity within company guidelines
  • Gain customer insight by attending customer meetings and testing the messaging and value propositions of new products
  • Undertake market research and product development activities
Experience / skills required:
 
  • Proven product marketing experience
  • Experience in the higher education sector or working with digital products is desired
  • Knowledge of segmentation, planning, positioning and value proposition creation
  • Effective relationship management and collaboration skills
  • Good commercial acumen and ability to think strategically
