Job Description

A leading publisher of psychometric tests based in Oxford is looking for a Psychological Assessment Specialist to produce and communicate high quality psychometric tests and training courses. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a degree in Psychology or equivalent experience in psychometrics to work on a varied role.


Key duties:

  • Support publishing team in preparing tests for allocated portfolio including developing and evaluating content
  • Develop expertise in the occupational test portfolio allocated, developing network in scientific and assessment community
  • Review research plans, liaise with developers and authors and develop new training courses and materials
  • Support sales and customers support departments as first point of contact for technical back up and advice
  • Attend conference and events, giving presentations as required


Experience / skills required:

  • Educated to Masters level in Psychology or equivalent experience in psychometrics is required
  • Good knowledge of best practice in design and use of psychometric tests
  • Excellent communications, presentation and networking skills with the ability to build solid relationships quickly
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and concern for quality
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be Registered Occupational Test User: Ability and Personality, or willingness to train
