Atwood Tate are the new publishing recruitment agency in town but our publishing recruitment consultants are not new to the industry! The senior management team here at Atwood Tate have a wealth of previous experience, both in publishing and publishing recruitment.
Claire Law
Claire is the founding director of Atwood Tate. Initially a publishing recruitment consultant at Inspired Selection, Claire cut her teeth filling specialist publishing vacancies for the London publishers in a market that she built from scratch. She progressed to become Director before leaving to pursue a few other interests. After a little respite and surfing in the West Country whilst working on more generalist recruitment for corporate organisations, Claire is back and ready to transform the publishing recruitment market - nationwide! Prior to her recruitment life, Claire worked in Rights for Headline and Orion. Claire achieved the REC Certificate in 2003 and she is the Senior Publishing Recruitment Consultant for London and Greater London.
Helen Speedy
Helen has over six years' experience of working in publishing, latterly as Rights Executive for Orion Children's Books. Helen has an excellent understanding of publishing and is a natural and experienced communicator. Following her degree in Modern & Medieval Languages, Helen took an MA in Publishing, gaining distinction.
Helen's main focus at Atwood Tate will be on publishing jobs in Editorial, Rights, International Sales and Contracts, from graduates to mid management.
Sam Coleman
Sam has five years' experience of working in publishing, primarily in book production, both in traditional publishing and in a production services company. Sam has also been a Production Manager for a printing company. Sam's latest role has been in recruitment, where he was the lead recruitment officer for a Government Initiative Future Jobs Fund, helping young people into work. Sam gained a BA in Publishing Studies from Robert Gordon University.
Sam's main focus at Atwood Tate will be on publishing jobs in Digital, Design, Production, Production Editorial and Operations, from graduates to mid management.
Ashleigh Terry
Ashleigh has 5 years' experience in publishing within Sales and Customer Service. Before joining us here at Atwood Tate he worked with Oxford University Press as Sales Executive, promoting and selling practitioner titles into the Police and Academic markets. Prior to this he held the position of Sales Administrator at Cambridge University Press after being promoted from the Customer Services department. Within these roles he worked collaboratively with all areas of the business from editorial through to marketing, design and rights. He started his career in book selling for Waterstones, where he gained an excellent foundation in the commercial side of publishing.
Ashleigh's main focus at Atwood Tate will be on publishing jobs in Sales and Marketing, Publicity, Customer Service and Administrative, from graduates to mid-management.
Jo Bowerman and Lynne Willoughby have now joined the board of Atwood Tate to help with strategic growth and facilitate our goal to be the number one agency for publishing and communications. As founders and former directors of Inspired Selection, Jo and Lynne have a wealth of experience in both publishing and recruitment and together we want to continue building strong, mutually beneficially relationships with our clients that exceed the normal expectations of recruitment agencies. « Back
