STM Publishing
STM publishing is an abbreviation for academic publications where STM stands for science, technical, and medical.
STM Publishing also publishes for what is known as the "Professional" markets as well as the academic markets - ie. practicing professionals such as doctors, accountants and lawyers, as well as those studying these disciplines.
The vast majority of STM publishing is now available online, with 96% of STM journals accessible electronically in 20081.
