A leading STM publisher based in Oxfordshire is looking for a Communications Specialist to promote their CBS (Corporate Business Systems) division both internally and externally. This role would suit an experienced communications executive looking to take the next step in their career.

Key duties:

·          Develop communications plans, events and material to promote activities of CBS

·          Act as consultant to CBS senior management on most effective communications methods, medias and formats

·          Brand management and promotion for CBS department externally and internally

·          Own CBS intranet site, ensuring structure and content is aligned with branding and refreshed regularly

·          Engage with Senior Management to identify major events and deliverables for communication

·          Monitor customer satisfaction trends over time and suggest ways to improve communications

Experience / skills required:

·          A background in internal communications and PR is required for this role

·          Able to demonstrate a successful and effective use of a wide range of communication and branding techniques, tools, medias and formats

·          Works effectively with others to get work done

·          Effective at presenting and selling a strategic vision

·          Experience of driving change in a matrix organisation

·          Comfortable communicating technical language to a range of business audiences
