Our client, a leading STM publisher in Oxford, is looking to appoint a Project Manager to manage the development and production of a range of encyclopaedias. This is an integral role working within a busy and friendly department for an international STM publisher. Key duties: · Manage the development and production of designated articles, comprehensives and encyclopaedias · Manage a number of large and complex projects effectively · Work within a combined development and production team · Work closely with internal publishers, sales and marketing and finance teams · Maintain and develop close working relationships with editors, authors and suppliers · Assist with other project work as required Experience / skills required: · Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively · Ability to effectively manage large and complex projects through the publishing cycle · Excellent communication skills · Ability to work with internal/external contacts with good negotiation skills · Detailed understanding of the publishing process · Excellent IT skills especially Office packages · Relevant publishing experience gained in an STM environment preferred · Some knowledge of HTML/XML would be useful but not essential For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to samcoleman@atwoodtate.co.uk Contact: Sam Coleman Tel: 020 7487 8274 Atwood Tate embraces diversity and seeks to promote the benefits of diversity in all of our business activities and to develop a business culture that reflects that belief.
