Our client, a market leading educational publisher based in Singapore, has an opening for an Instructional Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental role in a newly developed team at a well-established and prestigious international publisher based in Singapore. Key duties: · Brainstorm with editors to develop appropriate educational multimedia products to meet syllabus and learning requirements · Design and develop interactive educational content to enhance teaching and learning for primary and secondary level students · Prepare scripts / storyboards for courseware · Edit text in courseware · Proofread and check final multimedia product · Guide external writers to deliver content based on the product concept and writing style agreed · Evaluate coverage and accuracy of authors’ work against syllabus and content requirements · Work with the designer or programmer to instruct / guide the development of animation / interactive content · Work with project managers, editors, and external parties such as content writers to ensure smooth delivery of content Experience / skills required: · A degree, or equivalent, in Science, Humanities, Maths or English language · An understanding of how to integrate ICT and digital products into the curriculum · Experience of working on digital products for the primary and secondary schools markets · Experience in instructional design or educational publishing · Able to deliver high-quality work to demanding deadlines · A teaching qualification would be advantageous For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to lucyllewellyn@atwoodtate.co.uk.
