A leading educational publisher is looking for an experienced Development Editor to develop new titles and digital products for ELT lists within their EMEA publishing team. This role is based in their lively and attractive offices in the South East. Key duties: · Plan development work and schedule dates for each project · Monitor and manage costs · Research project aspects such as sales and market feedback · Secure content from authors to schedule · Provide author care · Organise cover and text design meetings and write cover copy · Project manage digital products and assist in develop digital strategies · Provide input to the Publisher for list development strategy
Experience / skills required: · Demonstrable ELT publishing experience · Experience of EFL teaching and a recognised TEFL qualification · Understanding of different ELT markets and segments · Author care and management experience · Excellent organisation and communication skills · Good attention to detail · Ability to prioritise with good project management skills · Excellent presentation skills with some experience of design brief preparation For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to clairelouisekemp@atwoodtate.co.uk
