Job Description

A leading international educational publisher has a new opportunity for a Training and Faculty Manager at their offices in Harlow. This role requires leadership and experience in HE within the eLearning community. You will champion the organisation and provide expert levels of training services.

 

Key duties:

 

·          Establish significant value within company wide training initiatives

·          Recruit, train, manage, develop and deploy Faculty Advisers across a range of disciplines

·          To maintain a close network of respected individuals within the sector

·          Develop strategic plans for training programme delivery

·          Develop new training courses, maintain and coordinate existing training materials

·          Attend product team training sessions understand eLearning products

·          Manage training budgets and resources, including contractors and vendors

·          Identify training needs, develop tools and evaluate effectiveness. 

 

Experience / skills required:

 

·          Relevant experience in learning technologies, educational publishing or educational software

·          Project management experience essential

·          Strong IT skills including Dreamweaver and Photoshop

·          Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organisational skills

·          Experience of technical quality assurance processes is essential

·          Experience in working with a virtual learning environment would be a distinct advantage
