Our client, a prestigious publisher leading the way in the academic publishing market, is looking for a Marketing Executive to step up and take responsibility promoting the growing professional Law Books programme. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Executive looking to step up and further their publishing Marketing career. This is a full time role based in Cambridge which offers excellent remuneration package.

Key duties:

·         Deputise in the absence of the Marketing Manager

·         Budget, plan and formulate annual integrated marketing plans for Law

·         Mentor and support the Junior Marketing Executives

·         Develop and manage relationships with publishing partners and international organizations

·         Using your commercial awareness, contribute to the Group Publishing Strategy through product, competitor and market research

·         Report on sales results, analyzing trends and monitoring own performance against target

·         Test email campaigns, manage web pages and integrate social media into campaigns as appropriate

·         Keep informed and be aware of hot topics in Law and feedback any appropriate opportunities as appropriate

Experience/ skills required:

·         Experience in a similar role within publishing

·         A proactive approach and an ambition to establish a career in Marketing

·         Excellent communication skills

·         An excellent track record in establishing and building good working relationships

Salary: £29,352 – £32,072
