An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at an award-winning, independent book publisher.  As South Asia & Exports Sales manager you will focus on growing territory sales and their English language export business, as well as selling foreign rights to Asian publishers and distributors.

Key duties:

·         Grow overall export sales with existing and new customers in South Asian territory

·         Sell foreign rights to Asian publishers & distributors

·         Lead, manage and motivate a team of independent sales agents in Export markets

·         Grow English language worldwide export business, creating new leads

·         Forecasting, monitoring and achieving sales targets

·         Review current export structure and change if necessary

·         Regular visits to the territory and Frankfurt, Bologna and other International Book Fairs

Experience / skills required:

·         A sales track record/history in overseas and foreign rights and/or export sales

·         Experience of the Asian market will be a distinct advantage

·         Knowledge and experience of the export market

·         Sales management experience

·         Able to play a lead role in developing the Asian & Export strategy

·         Willing to travel extensively throughout the territory
