A prestigious educational publisher has two new roles in their very successful International ELT department. They need a Commissioning Editor and a Development Editor to work on resources for their Secondary Vocational list. These are excellent opportunities to build upon, or grow, your commissioning experience. These are a permanent roles based in London (with some travel to Oxford). Key duties: · Work closely with the Secondary Publisher and Commissioning Editor · Oversee the content editing of materials · Work with authors and overseas offices to ensure material meets market requirements · Work with in-house project teams to ensure material is delivered on time and to budget · Liaise closely with editorial freelancers, in-house design, digital, and production colleagues Experience / skills required: · Formal ELT qualification and experience teaching · Demonstrable ELT publishing experience, and a proven track record of successful product development · Experience of working on/with digital products is essential · First class written and verbal communication skills · Proven team-working and organisational skills · Understanding of different ELT markets and segments, and a range of international ELT situations In addition, the Commissioning Editor will be responsible for/ require experience in: · Solid commissioning and product development experience in an editorial role within ELT publishing · Developing and overseeing the content editing and versioning of materials · Assisting in commissioning authors to work on core components For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to clairelouisekemp@atwoodtate.co.uk Contact: Claire Louise Kemp Tel: 01865 339628 Atwood Tate embraces diversity and seeks to promote the benefits of diversity in all of our business activities and to develop a business culture that reflects that belief.
