Our client a leading academic and educational publisher is currently looking to appoint a HE Sales Representative to secure adoptions and drive sales across Greater London and the South East (including Kent / Surrey / Essex / Herts / Middx / Bucks. Key duties: · Maximize revenue and achieve agreed sales goals, through all channels including campus bookshops and direct to institutions and academics · Proactively develop relationships with booksellers and academics in your territories · Initiate and develop institutional / university faculty adoptions by integrating e-Learning technology and eBook platforms · Regularly visit academics and campus bookshops promoting new titles, editions and assisting in promotional activity · Act as the contact for all higher education customers in territory · Ensure retention of current adoptions and actively secure new adoptions · Pursue all editorial leads and feedback market reactions to editorial and marketing colleagues · Demonstrate and present online resources to academics and students · Attend conferences and events as required Experience / skills required: · Solid sales or bookselling experience, with experience in campus calling preferable · Demonstrable record of sales success and the ability to sell consultatively · Experience in giving presentations to existing and new customers · Good basic IT skills including Powerpoint · Ideally with good knowledge of industry trends and awareness of technology in learning · Experience using a CRM system and good numeracy skills and financial awareness · Clean driving license · Flexibility to travel is essential For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to clairelouisekemp@atwoodtate.co.uk Contact: Claire Louise Kemp Tel: 01865 339628
