The world’s leading scholarly publisher of journals and books in business and management is looking to recruit a Digital Community Manager. You will help drive the development and leadership of online communities for a global network of scholars and researchers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of developing and delivering social media strategies.
Key duties: · Oversee the launch of a new online community · Help drive the development and leadership of online communities · Promote the company as a publisher of choice within its key author communities · Develop and maintain effective Social Media Strategy and Policy · Maintain existing communities, responding to user needs · Keep up to date on new social media tools
Experience / skills required: · Experience of developing and delivering social media strategies in publishing · Proven ability to effectively convert plans into successful content and community · Experience liaising with a global network of users and contributors · You will be detail-oriented, well organized and able to lead multiple projects simultaneously · Good interpersonal skills and solid IT skills are essential
