Key duties: · Contribute to the development of strategy and implementation plans for the journals · Negotiate and manage contractual relationships with journal scientific editors and/or societies · Manage and take responsibility for the day-to-day publishing operations that maintain and develop the existing portfolio · Manage the budget and meet set targets for growth within the Computer Science portfolio · Provide input to the annual pricing/budgeting process for the portfolio when required · Input to marketing plans for the assigned product portfolio · Identify new market needs and business opportunities · Establish, manage and maintain excellent contacts and networks with key external stakeholders Experience / skills required: · An academic background in Computer Science (Masters degree or equivalent) would be preferable · Experience in an Editorial role, specifically in journal publishing · The ability to travel 20% of the year · Experience in online social media tools and technologies · Excellent interpersonal skills · A good overview of the scientific world with excellent contacts within the world of Computer Science For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to stephaniehall@atwoodtate.co.uk Contact: Stephanie Hall Tel: 020 7487 8313
